I know you are tired. It seems like everyday you wake up feeling exhausted, already defeated, and insecure. It would be easier to stay at home under the covers than to have to face the battle of the day. But we all know you are a warrior and you can do this.
It takes a lot out of a person when you willingly give up every aspect of yourself in order to benefit others. Giving patience to those undeserving, kindness to those who only show evil in return, love to the unlovable, and a smile to those who wouldn’t wish you well at all.
It tests your nerve, it tugs your heartstrings, it rips at your soul, and it will break you down. But, my darling, it will build you up. Don’t be the one who gives up, the one who allows the world to turn them cold. Don’t be the one to turn your head from someone in need, even if they were in need yesterday and the day before.
Your day is coming that the goodness you have given out so easily to everyone else will be returned to you in full.
It takes a special type of girl to be able to take on the world day after day- giving until everything is gone. It takes someone like you to make this life worth living.
